Leaving on a jet plane... I know when I'll be back...

So today is the day.  A year and a half of planning. Changing travel companions and destinations, amount of time... But it's here.  For real.  WEIRD!! In ten minutes I will be leaving my house, getting on a bus and going to O'hare.  Big Scary O'Hare but it was several hundred cheaper for a flight.  I've just always flown out of Minneapolis/St. Paul so I know nothing about the airport.

There was a scare with the ticket reservations for our train rides but UPS was amazing and I was able to pick them up this morning.  Otherwise? Goodbye $400.  So for future reference: buy both train passes AND reservations several months in advance.  Learn from my mistake.  Also, reservations are REQUIRED for certain trains so make sure to plan all that out well in advance.

Regardless they are in my possession, along with our train passes and all other important documents needed.  So Bon Voyage United States.Bonjour!/Hello!/Halo/Guten Tag/Hallo to Europe!

Horse Shows

I am behind on posting again but it's because I was at a horse show all weekend.  We did pretty well overall.  Definitely getting finished and ready to take all sorts of awards.  I'm going to win a pretty belt buckle! And maybe win one for my Mom as well.

And I'm only 22 points from my Amateur Championship.

This is Sprat with the little girl that does lead line on him.  He gets so weird and I don't know why. But she does well.  She's a courageous little girl.  Her sister is a total diva.  They could not be more different.

Gypsy Gazebos

First, I need to be done with school.

Second, I need a real job.

Third, I need to have a house with a yard.

Fourth, I need one of these... Well want one.

Breakfast on the porch

Pancakes, Bacon, an Egg, OJ and Hazelnut Coffee with Milk.  Delicious.

I have a a bistro set on my porch that I get to use now that the weather has finally gotten better.  It's my favorite thing to do is to take my breakfast and my book out on the porch and sit there for an hour or so being lazy and enjoying the outdoors.

Reading is fun?

This was my graduation present to myself.  The Kindle.  I know, I know.  Books.  I love books. But... I can't bring three books with me to Europe but I can if they're all in the tiny little Kindle.

My book cover and with a light.  Pretty much because I have an awesome mom.

My current book is the Linen Queen by Patricia Falvey.  It's about a girl living in Northern Ireland during WWII and so far she's super obnoxious but the reviews say she gets better.
I kind of have forgotten how to read for fun.  It's weird. I know I enjoy it but I can  still only read a chapter or two at a time now before I start to feel like I'm doing something wrong.  That I have other things that need to get done.  Which in some ways is true but in most ways is false since I don't have school reading to do.

Snoring

As a double post to make up for my lack of posts this weekend.

My puppy is laying on her bed snoring.

It's SOOOOO adorable.

Graduation

I'm so nervous for my grades to come in.  I know there's nothing I can do but I just get so freaked out because it might mean spending more time groveling to get into law school.  But... it's nice to know I get to relax for a bit.  I get to spend the summer not worried about next semester and the next classes.  Next tuition payments.  I think it will all really hit when I don't go back to school in the fall.  For now. (As I promised and because I've been behind on these posts).  It's hard to post daily but I'm going to do my best.

And now... graduation! (There will be more once people finish posting them!)

My Friend Alicia and I in front of the Kohl Center.
On Bascom Hill with photo ops.
Big Union Chair. I look like I'm a five year old.

Runs... And Europe...

So my plans for my Europe trip are going really well other than my anxiety dreams about not having my passport with me when I get to the airport, not having everything packed and forgetting things, and having a strange man put roofies in our drinks.  But none of those things will happen. (I hope).

Also, my goal is to post at least one post with pictures and some words for each day from now until law school. And then I will go away to my studying law place and no one will hear from me until I graduate.  (I might be a bit melodramatic).

Here we go, starting today:
Running through Europe

This is a picture of an avenue in Phoenix Park in Dublin, Ireland.  A place I plan on running or at least walking through the entirety of it.  It's huge.  It's north of the River Liffey and a couple miles from our hostel so we'll be busing or something over there and then I'll hopefully get two runs in there.

Next City and Next Running Park: London, Hyde Park (Also, I will be riding a horse through Hyde Park as well)
This is what I've planned out so far but I'm very very very excited about it!
