Nesting

Freshman year of college my friend Christy used to go through periods of intense mothering instinct which she called "Nesting".  We all benefited because it usually meant she wanted to mother us all and it worked out well.

And right now, probably the worst that it's ever been I want to nest, but not in a mothering way.  I want to redecorate and reorganize my apartment and add all the wonderful kitchen items I got for Christmas to my cupboards.

It probably doesn't help that I have been watching way to much HGTV since I've been home and laid up.  I need to stop.  I also bought some stuff myself at Ikea and a really neat painting I got from the starving artists art fair.  I am itching to get it all home (hopefully it all fits in my car) and get it all set up.  

At least I got to spend time with Christy and she understood my crazy nesting habits.
